Cambridge

The name of this blog has just been justified. Tabsville, in case you didn't know, refers to Cambridge. Why so? Cambridge in Latin is Cantabrigien, and the word tab (from Cantab) is a derogatory term used by Oxford students to show their derision for the other place.

Anyway, besides the entomology of this blog, I am very glad to say that I've been given a conditional offer by Pembroke College, Cambridge for Natural Sciences (Bio). The offer conditions are, as described by another as, bittersweet. I need to get AAAA and 1 S paper distinction which is not particularly demanding but by normal standards, tough. I do hope that they'll defer my place to 2008 after I have finish my NS liability.

Sigh. going back into camp tomorrow... NS is such a chore.
